There are a number of hotels where parents and visitors may stay such as the Holiday Inn, which is located in Filton Road, Hambrook, Bristol. A room is worth around 112 pounds sterling per night during weekdays and 70 to 90 pounds sterling during weekends. Another hotel is the Premier Travel Inn, located in Sheild Retail Park, Gloucester Road North, Filton, Bristol. It charges 56 pounds sterling a night.
Student Accommodation
The University of the West of England has about 4,370 bed spaces for its students. These are located either nearby or adjacent to each of its campuses. All of the residence halls offer certain facilities such as gas and electric heating, smoke detection systems, and a 24-hour emergency call service.
Tanners Court is just one of the residence halls offered by the university. It is situated in a residential area in Frenchay which is only a 10- to 15-minute drive from the campus. It is composed of nine flats that can accommodate about 30 students. Each student is given a single bedroom equipped with a bed, cabinet, desk, curtains, and bedding. The kitchen is also equipped with a fridge, stove and other cooking hardware. It also offers each tenant a parking space. Other tenants may also find parking spaces in nearby areas, however, the university will not be held liable for any damage or losses to.vehicles.
